Masters students are eligible for federal loans through Antioch University McGregor.
CERTIFICATE:
A Certificate of Completion is awarded to all students successfully completing the two-year program.
DISCIPLINE: Students
are expected to be familiar with the rules governing student conduct
and to follow them. Should a student’s actions lead to dismissal,
refunds will be made according to the schedule. Students are required
to attend all classes, and unexcused absences may be grounds for
dismissal. Medical absences must be documented. Lack of application or
progress may be cause for dismissal after careful consideration by the
faculty and a formal warning. During the school year, students are not
allowed to participate in outside productions.
GRADUATION:
Commencement speakers have included Eileen Atkins, Christine Baranski,
Ellen Barkin, Marisa Chibas, Sinead Cusack, Peter Gallagher, Gene
Hackman, Norris Houghton, David Hyde-Pierce, Michael Moriarty, Elaine
May, Mary Louise Parker, Natasha Richardson, Wallace Shawn, Stanley
Tucci, Arnold Weinstein, Mary Louise Wilson, and George C. Wolfe. |
EVALUATIONS:
Informal
evaluation and feedback about progress is offered by faculty on a
week-to-week basis. Students are evaluated more formally by the faculty
as a whole at the end of the year.
TIME REQUIREMENTS:
Students
must be available for classes during the day, Monday - Friday from 9:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Students are in class up to 26 hours per week.
Considerable additional time is required for preparation. Participation
in Friday night improv performances is optional. Some students are able
to secure work on weekends or an occasional evening, but we suggest
that you borrow (see Financial Aid section) rather than attempt to
work. As the schedule of classes may change during the year, outside
work may not be scheduled during class hours M-F, 9- 5*
*It is not possible for students to earn enough during the year for both tuition and living expenses. |
